College Station woman identified as victim in single vehicle crash in Bryan

The crash happened shortly after 6 a.m. on Sunday.

BRYAN, Texas — A driver that was pronounced dead in a single vehicle crash on Sunday has been identified by Bryan Police.

According to police, at 6:13 a.m. in the 1300 block of Ursuline Avenue, officers went to investigate a report of a crash involving a car that had struck a tree. The driver was pronounced dead, and authorities say there were no other individuals in the car at the time of the crash.

Following the initial report from Bryan PD on Sunday, the driver was identified on Monday as 22-year-old Rebecca Zavala of College Station.
