COLLEGE STATION, Texas - College Station Police reunited a lost toddler with his parents early Thursday morning.
According to the College Station Police Department, at approximately 11:17 PM, officers were dispatched to the 400 block of Fall Ct in response to a welfare concern call.
A toddler had approached an apartment in the area, and tried to get inside.After an exhaustive search of the immediate area, Officers were initially unable to locate the toddler’s parents.
After posting the child’s information on social media, officers were able to make contact with the parents of the child, and discovered the child was able to defeat a child-proof lock and leave his apartment without the parent’s knowledge, according to College Station Police Department. After a joint investigation with the Texas Department of Family Protective Services, the child was released back to his family around 1 a.m.
