BRAZOS COUNTY, Texas — A staff member at a Brazos County juvenile treatment center has been arrested after being accused of having a sexual relationship with a juvenile who was in her care.

Sander Warren ,46, of Bryan, is charged with one count of sexual assault of a child. Authorities said Warren had sex with a child under the age of 17 at a motel in Bryan. After being questioned by investigators, Warren allegedly admitted to having sex with the male juvenile victim.

The administrator of Everyday Life, Inc, a nonprofit treatment center for juveniles in Brazos County, first reported the relationship to the Brazos County Sheriff's Office back in November of 2019, according to court documents.

In November of 2019, investigators said they talked with Warren, who allegedly admitted she had rented a room at a motel in Bryan and her and the male victim had sex. Warren allegedly said they only had sex once and the encounter lasted about an hour. When investigators questioned the victim, they said they did not want to be a part of the investigation.

In December of 2019, investigators said Warren would no longer talk to them without a lawyer present but would not provide the name of her lawyer and allegedly stopped returning their calls.

At last check, Warren remains in the Brazos County Jail on a $30,000 bond.
