Bombers took a tough loss in the first game when the rally fell short in the bottom of the seventh inning. Anthony Herrera drove in the only run of the game with an RBI sacrifice fly to right field.

Tonight’s double-header was a Winter Wonderland theme sponsored by Maroon Maids. During intermission on our Wing Wednesday, brought to you by Smitty K’s Sports Bar and Grill, Nutrabolt Stadium hosted a special performance by Mini Elvis.

The second game started off slow until a sacrifice fly in the third inning from Alex Samples drove in the first run of the game bringing in John Grimsley. The score stayed that way until the bottom of the seventh inning as Garrett Hofstad threw six innings, allowing no runs and striking out ten batters. Anthony Herrera replaced Hofstad in order to secure the win. Marshalls were able to earn a run across with a two out RBI by B.J. Findley. After two innings of overtime, John Grimsley ended the game with a walk off single up the middle running Herrera in for the win.
