ROCKDALE, Texas — The city of Rockdale has announced a multi-week closure at an intersection in the city beginning on the week of April 8.
That week, the intersection of Meadow Street and Brazos Street will be partially or fully closed during the period of road work while the city works on a continuation of the Flood Mitigation Project meant to reduce uncontrolled storm water runoff in several areas of the city.
Funding for the project is being handled by the City of Rockdale and the State of Texas General Land Office.
Exact dates of when the road work will take place will be announced at a later time, according to the city.
