Saying one is the loneliest number doesn't always carry a negative connotation. For former Rockdale Tiger and current Trinity Valley Community College star Wendell Mitchell, it's a good thing. He's the number-one ranked junior college basketball player in America.
Number one started out with a few meanings; he was the number one guy at Rockdale, but afterwards lasted just one season at Baylor. Now, he's back at the top and has finally won.
