Brazos County A&M Club announces virtual 2020 Aggie Muster

The decision was made in the interests of the over 700 attendees at the typical in-person gathering.

BRAZOS COUNTY, Texas — The Brazos County A&M Club announced that its annual Aggie Muster ceremony will be held virtually on April 21 with a camaraderie barbecue to be held later this summer.

The virtual Muster ceremony will still take place at 6:00 PM on April 21 and will be live-streamed on numerous platforms including Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and bcamc.org

The interactive virtual event will include the traditional Roll Call for the Absent and candle lighting as well as other program pieces. Families of those being honored will have the option of their loved one’s name also being called and participating at the Muster in 2021.

“While our Muster will undoubtedly look very different this year, we believe it’s not important when or how you Muster, but that you do, in fact, Muster,” said Brazos County A&M Club President Christopher Dawson. “We are looking forward to this opportunity to increase the visibility of Muster and show the world what sets Texas A&M apart: the Aggie Family and Aggie Muster.”

In addition to the virtual Muster ceremony, an in-person camaraderie barbecue is being planned for late summer 2020 for Aggies in Brazos County to gather as they normally would on April 21 for food, friends and good bull. Details will be released as they are finalized in the coming months.

Those who have pre-purchased tickets to this year’s Muster will be contacted regarding options for reconciling their tickets and donations. More information on viewing the 2020 Brazos County A&M Muster will be announced soon at bcamc.org and on the Brazos County A&M Club Facebook page.
