COLLEGE STATION, Texas -- Texas A&M University is conducting an investigation into sexual harassment allegations against an employee.
Four different accusations of sexual harassment have surfaced against an employee who works in the Texas A&M Vet-Teaching Hospital.
The accusations are from Texas A&M staff members who also work in the teaching hospital. They reported that their supervisor, also a staff member, sexually harassed them. And in one case, sexually assaulted them.
According to a Crime Alert by TAMU PD, on July 6th, university police were brought to A&M Human Resources to take a report of sexual harassment and assault filed by a staff member.
Texas A&M is conducting a human resources investigation into the harassment accusation.
There is a criminal investigation being conducted by UPD over the sexual assault allegation.
The university employee has been put on leave during the investigation.
Texas A&M could not provide an official statement due to the pending investigation.
