Warm and Dry to Start the Holiday Weekend, but Rain Chances Move in on Memorial Day | Brazos Valley Forecast

Rain chances remain slim, and temperatures stay in the mid/upper 80's into the weekend, but a pattern change brings a 30% chance of showers and storms for Monday.

BRYAN, Texas — TONIGHT: Our streak of mild, dry evenings continues tonight. Expect temperatures to fall into the mid/upper 60's across the area under mostly clear skies. Winds will stay light out of the east.

TOMORROW: Much like today, temperatures will flirt with 90° tomorrow under mostly sunny skies. Winds remain out of the east, so humidity should be kept at reasonable levels, as well.

Tomorrow will be very similar to today.

EXTENDED: Sunday, the upper level ridge begins to weaken a bit and that opens the door for us to start seeing a few disturbances move through. This will increase our rain chances from Sunday night through Wednesday. Sunday, rain looks unlikely, with maybe a 10% chance of seeing a shower or thunderstorm in the afternoon, Monday, chances pick up to about 30%, and Tuesday representing our best shot at rain, at about 50%.

Sunday: Partly cloudy with highs around 86°. Southeast wind at 5-10 mph.

Monday: Partly cloudy with highs around 85°. 30% chance of rain. 

Tuesday: Partly cloudy with highs around 82°. 50% chance of rain.

Wednesday: Partly cloudy with highs around 86°. 20% chance of rain.

Thursday: Mostly sunny with highs around 88°. 20% chance of rain.

Friday: Partly cloudy with highs around 90°. 30% chance of rain.

Memorial Day weekend could end on a wet note. The pattern change lasts into next week with several rain chances.
