Robertson County authorities arrest man in possession of over three pounds of illegal substances, guns and money

Authorities arrested Alijah Miles, 21, the sole occupant of the home that was searched on Tuesday.

HEARNE, Robertson County — A man is in custody after law enforcement agencies in Robertson County executed a search warrant on Tuesday evening, according to a press release from the Hearne Police Department.

That day, around 6 p.m., officers with the Hearne Police Department, Calvert Police Department, and Robertson County Sheriff's Department were in the 2200 block of South San Gabriel Street to search for illegal substances. Alijah Miles, 21, was arrested following the warrant.

The following items were found and seized:

  • 4.89 ounces of raw marijuana
  • 2.85 ounces of synthetic cannabinoid (Spice)
  • 7.57 ounces of MDMA (Ecstasy) tablets
  • 36.01 ounces of THC vape cartridges
  • 11.9 grams of PCP
  • 1.5 ounces of THC gummies
  • Four firearms
  • An undisclosed amount of U.S. currency
  • Other drug-related items

The total of illegal substances discovered comes out to just over 3.3 pounds. Two of the four firearms were also reported stolen from other agencies, according to authorities.

Miles has been charged with the following crimes:

  • Two counts of possession of a Controlled Substance in Penalty Group 2 between 4 grams and 400 grams
  • Two counts of Unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon
  • Theft of a Firearm
  • Criminal Trespass
  • Manufacture and delivery of a Controlled Substance in Penalty Group 1 between 200 grams and 400 grams
  • Manufacture and delivery of a Controlled Substance in Penalty Group 2 or 2A between 4 grams and 400 grams
  • Manufacture and delivery of a Controlled Substance in Penalty Group 2 or 2A over 400 grams
  • Possession of Marijuana
  • Possession of Marijuana in a Drug Free Zone

No bond has been set as of publish time, according to the Robertson County Sheriff's Office website.

Officials say that there are other pending warrants of arrest for other residents that were not present, and that the case is an active and ongoing investigation.
