BRAZOS COUNTY, Texas — Editor's Note: The attached video aired in June 2022.
Bryan Texas Utilities (BTU) will be performing aerial drone inspections of parts of their transmission system around parts of College Station starting Tuesday, according to a press release.
Some residents on the following roads may notice drones in the area:
- Greens Prairie Road
- Graham Road
- Rio Grande Boulevard
- Longmire Drive
The inspections will be taking place through Friday.
BTU says the contractors will also be "conducting ground surveys." The company says that if access to private property is needed, the landowners will be notified.
