Juvenile, 20-year-old arrested in Pleasant Hill Road homicide

Authorities say a dead body was found on Pleasant Hill Road on Wednesday, and that there is no known threat or danger to the public.

BRYAN, Texas — Following a suspicious death report and homicide investigation on Pleasant Hill Road in Bryan on Aug. 2, the Brazos County Sheriff's Office has arrested two individuals.

Nariah Reeves, 20, and an unnamed juvenile were arrested and charged for the murder of 41-year-old Brandon Hall, who died from a gunshot wound, on Friday.

According to authorities, Brazos County Sheriffs arrested Reeves and the juvenile after a warrant was obtained to search a home in Brenham. The juvenile was arrested within a few days of police discovering Hall had died on Aug. 2, while Reeves was arrested on Thursday.

Reeves is being held in the Brazos County jail on $400,000 bond.

Authorities say the investigation is still ongoing.
