ANDERSON, Grimes County — One person is dead following a motorcycle crash in Anderson, Texas.
The crash occurred at the intersection of FM 3090 and FM 149 around noon on Monday when a 2019 Yamaha Motorcycle was speeding around a corner, and eventually lost control, hitting a fence post off the roadway, according to Texas DPS.
The person involved in the crash was identified by DPS as Mitchell Childress, 35, of Pasadena. They were pronounced dead at the scene of the crash by Grimes County Justice of the Peace Lester Underwood.
