BRYAN, Texas — A hot weekend is in store for the Brazos Valley with near-normal temperatures for the end of July and the first of August.  A Heat Advisory is in effect Saturday for Robertson, Milam and Leon Counties.

The rest of the Brazos Valley will be close to advisory levels, so remember to follow those heat safety precautions while spending time outdoors.

Isolated showers are possible during the afternoon hours with mostly sunny skies Saturday and Sunday.

Another one of those weak cold fronts will approach the region on Monday bringing increased rain chances the first half of the week. Temperatures won't be quite as hot due to increased cloud cover and scattered showers and thunderstorms.
